What is possible when society’s “forgotten population” beats the odds and invests their hopes in each other, rather than a broken system? Camp Second Chance (CSC) is a homeless camp within Seattle, Washington founded by the homeless to support the homeless as they become productive members of society. “Stories Of Us” are their stories and ours; stories of triumph, proving that the power lies within us not to just survive, but to thrive.
Join documentary-maker Melinda Raebyne for a private screening in Zoom, then stay (or tune-in on NASH channels and beyond) for a live talkback. Melinda will be joined by Mark Warnick, a board member of Washington Lawyers for the Arts (WLA), who will talk about the services that WLA offers to artists and arts organizations in WA state. There will also be a panel discussion looking into homeless in this region along with ways we can help.
Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can.
All funds go directly to the artist!
