Black Lives Matter Resources

Washington Lawyers for the Arts (WLA) stands in solidarity with those speaking out and organizing against police brutality and injustice. Protest is expression and expression is the core of the arts. It is the responsibility of us all to speak up in the face of racism, both incidental and systemic. We at WLA recommit ourselves to supporting those in the arts community and throughout Washington finding their voice and expressing their truth.

In support of the Black Lives Matter movement and BIPOC everywhere, this page includes a list of online BLM resources, links to documentaries and other works that address racial inequality and police misconduct in the United States, and a list of recommendations by the WLA board of BIPOC-created works.
