Caitlin Bellum‘s practice focuses on trademark and copyright law; licensing and intellectual property-related transactions; Internet and social media issues; arts and entertainment law; business formation, governance and transactions; brand management; and start-up assistance. Caitlin assists clients with selecting, protecting, enforcing and licensing their brands worldwide. Caitlin has U.S. and international trademark prosecution experience and trademark and domain name enforcement experience, including dispute resolution and actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Caitlin also helps clients with copyright clearance, registration, policing, and licensing, and assists companies with online and social media IP issues including DMCA take-down requests, website audits, term and condition statements and privacy policies.

Her transactional experience includes licensing agreements; assignments; publishing agreements; literary rights agreements; talent-agent agreements; option and purchase agreements; confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements; work-for-hire agreements; freelance artist agreements; formation of limited liability companies, partnerships and S-corporations; corporate governance; distribution agreements; contract review; brand management; and start-up assistance.

Caitlin’s clients include cutting edge online and traditional companies to creative individuals in a wide range of industries, including tableware design, video game and app developers, adult product manufacturers, and specialty foods. She also works with arts and entertainment clients, including authors, artists, musicians, composers, internet memes, directors, producers, and screenwriters.
