Albert Wang is the first lawyer in his family and a native of the West Coast. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Bay Area, he earned his B.A. in Sociology from UC Berkeley in 2008. He then took a brief detour to Massachusetts to serve in AmeriCorps for a year and attend Harvard Law School. There, he wrote and edited on emergent intellectual property issues with the Journal of Law and Technology, illustrated for the Harvard Law Record and several stage productions of the HLS Drama Society, helped organize a conference on electronic access to justice for the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, and assisted technology-related startups in connection with the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project. Albert earned his J.D. from Harvard and passed the Washington bar in 2012, and is now clerking for the Washington courts. He looks forward to learning from the best artists and advocates Washington has to offer.
