Fields_Tiesha Tiesha Fields

Tiesha is a recent graduate of New England Law | Boston and currently works as a full-time intern with the General Counsel’s office of the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Her time at SAM and the Symphony is spent negotiating and drafting contracts, research and writing on a variety of issues, evaluating copyright permissions, reviewing corporate policies, and facilitating donor estate planning processes. While in law school, Tiesha focused on the areas of copyright, contracts, and land use. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper (Due Process), was a finalists in the regional negotiation competition, and graduated with honors (cum laude).

Prior to law school, Tiesha owned a project management consulting company and helped manage construction projects in buildings throughout Seattle’s downtown core. With a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington, Tiesha likes to mix the logic (or lack thereof) of the legal system with humor and real world applicability. She hopes to focus her writing on issues of copyright, estate planning, property rights, and contracts.
